The Opportunity
An established care provider is seeking an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to support the day-to-day leadership and operational management of a residential care service within the North West.

Working closely with the Registered Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational performance across the home.
Key Responsibilities
Support the overall day-to-day management of the residential care home
Assist in leading, motivating, and developing care and support teams
Ensure residents receive safe, person-centred, and high-quality care
Support compliance with CQC standards, policies, and safeguarding procedures
Monitor care plans, risk assessments, and medication management processes
Assist with staff supervision, rota management, and performance development
Support occupancy, resident experience, and family engagement initiatives
Contribute to audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities
Promote a positive, supportive, and professional culture across the service
Step into management responsibilities in the absence of the Registered Manager
About You
Previous experience within a senior care or deputy management role
Strong understanding of residential care standards and safeguarding requirements
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to support and motivate teams within a fast-paced care environment
Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
NVQ Level 3 or Level 5 in Health & Social Care desirable
Experience working within elderly care or residential care environments preferred
