Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 + bonus
The Opportunity
An established and growing care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a residential care service within the North West.
This is a key leadership role focused on delivering exceptional standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating a positive environment for both residents and staff.
The successful candidate will oversee all operational aspects of the home, driving continuous improvement, team development, and high-quality resident care within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall management and operational performance of the care home
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care for all residents
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding standards
Lead, develop, and motivate multidisciplinary care teams
Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and team performance
Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical governance processes
Drive occupancy, resident satisfaction, and family engagement initiatives
Manage budgets, operational targets, and overall service performance
Lead inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities
Promote a positive, professional, and supportive culture throughout the home
Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
About You
Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or senior care leader
Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and residential care standards
Passionate about delivering exceptional resident care and wellbeing
Proven leadership experience within elderly care or residential care environments
Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills
Ability to lead teams within a fast-paced and demanding care setting
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and operational performance
NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent desirable
