Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 + bonus

The Opportunity

An established and growing care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a residential care service within the North West.

This is a key leadership role focused on delivering exceptional standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating a positive environment for both residents and staff.

The successful candidate will oversee all operational aspects of the home, driving continuous improvement, team development, and high-quality resident care within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall management and operational performance of the care home

  • Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care for all residents

  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding standards

  • Lead, develop, and motivate multidisciplinary care teams

  • Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and team performance

  • Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical governance processes

  • Drive occupancy, resident satisfaction, and family engagement initiatives

  • Manage budgets, operational targets, and overall service performance

  • Lead inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities

  • Promote a positive, professional, and supportive culture throughout the home

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders

About You

  • Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or senior care leader

  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and residential care standards

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional resident care and wellbeing

  • Proven leadership experience within elderly care or residential care environments

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills

  • Ability to lead teams within a fast-paced and demanding care setting

  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and operational performance

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent desirable

  • Dedicated, compassionate, and driven to achieve high standards
